Sian and I are heading to a spot close to Crubenbeg where we picked chanterelle last year, I know its early but we visited a great Bar/Restaurant in Aviemore (Bridge Inn) and what was on the menu?......local chanterelle.....it's early... must be all the rain.
We will give the post an update later today with perhaps our first 2007 Chanterelle photos and a recipe!

I'm back.....well it is very early so we only managed to find a few chanterelle......
Only one thing to do.....a little virgin oil, one clove of garlic....fry and enjoy with some fresh bread.......bring on the wild mushroom season........
