Midnight Meteorite Walks. Some spaces still available for Sunday 12th. (£20 per person) Scotland benefits from some of the darkest skies in western Europe and, on a clear night, the skies above its mountains and forests, free from light and other pollution, can provide an ideal location for stargazing. Which is why there will be few better places than the dark slopes of CairnGorm from which would-be astronomers can view the spectacular meteorite shower that is expected to light up the night skies over Scotland on Saturday 11th August and Sunday 12th August. Walk leaves the Coire cas Base Station at 9pm.TEL: 01479 861341
