Easter Snow Conditions @ The Cairngorms

Easter Weekend Snow Conditiond at CairnGorm Mountain

General Conditions Great skiing and boarding! More fresh snow has fallen this week and is consolidating today due to milder temperatures giving an excellent base for Easter. Good skiing and boarding for beginners and intermediates in the Ptarmigan and Coire Cas.
Ski Runs There are runs down the White Lady and the M1 - narrow in places so take care. The top of the ski area and Coire Cas have the best skiing and boarding for all ages. We plan to open the West Wall Poma tomorrow (Friday) and the best route down there is the M2 and Over Yonder, both pisted. The groomers have been doing fantastic work to provide these runs and will continue to work on Ryvoan to open that. There are 2 large holes in the Ciste Gully and the West Wall has a significant build up of unstable snow. There are excellent runs from the top to the middle station on the Traverse, 105, Cas, Gunbarrel and M1. White Lady pisted down to the Elephant fence.

Sledge Park The Sledge park will be open subject to conditions at the Top Station and sledge hire can be arranged in the shop at the top (it is not possible to carry sledges on the train). Sledging sessions can be booked and purchased from the Shop at the Top; please enquire about availability at the ticket office before you purchase your funicular ticket. As always please visit our web site for the most up to date conditions and weather. http://www.cairngormmountain.org/.
